Check Out Japan's Most Scenic Golf Courses

One of the things most people look forward to when they plan a trip to Niseko is to be able to check out Japan's most scenic golf courses. Niseko has three main courses:

  • The Niseko Village Golf Course

This course is usually open from May to October. It is considered to have one of the best views of Mt. Yotei. If you're a beginner, and you want to be surrounded by the beauty of nature while you play, this course is the best for you. This par 73, 6,845 yard course has won the prize for Japan's Best Golf Course two years in a row back in 2014-2015, beating Tokyo Golf Club and Kawana Resort's coast-side Fuji course.

  • The Niseko Golf Course

This course was designed by Arnold Palmer and is usually open from May to November. It offers a beautiful layout that runs through the forest and is surrounded by pine trees and white birches. It is considered one of the most difficult and strategic courses in the entire Hokkaido.

  • Hanazono Golf Course

This par 72 course is recognized as one of the most attractive golf courses in the entire country. It was rebranded in 2016 to match the Hanazono ski resort. It has a unique layout located in the middle of the picturesque Niseko scenery and boasts the magnificent view of Mt. Yotei. This course also features a range of challenging holes.
